In the future Macedonia must exert greater efforts to invest in energy efficiency, in technologies and in facilities that will use renewable sources of energy, because in the next period the resources from which Macedonia now receives greater part of the needed energy could be wasted.
The project aims to support the implementation of the law on batteries and waste batteries (entered into force on January 1, 2011), to develop the awareness about the harmful effects of the batteries and to initiate a system for collecting waste batteries.

The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign showcases activities dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. The campaign aims to form a bigger picture out of our isolated efforts to inspire change. Concretely, the focus is on spreading best practice in sustainable energy technology, build alliances and inspire new energy ideas and actions. |
