On the occasion of the Earth Day, the Platform for youth sustainability organized a seminar on “Youth Participation and Environment”. The event took place on 20th of April, Saturday, at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje.
The objectives of the seminar were the following: young people to understand their role in the society, to learn more about the global and local sustainability challenges and to know how to activate themselves in the society and in the environmental protection. The platform is supported by the Embassy of France and aims to connect, educate the young people who are active in the field of the environmental protection by creating a network of relevant youth organizations. The platform consists of 8 youth associations including: Go Green Skopje, AIESEC Skopje, Scout Association of Macedonia, Youth Educational Forum, Let’s do it Macedonia, OHO, AIESEC Prilep and Young can. Bujrum – Centre for Rural Development and Eco Team East are the associations that will officially become new members of the platform at the seminar on Saturday.
