Go Green from Macedonia and Green Circle from Hungary started to develop partnership during the EU-China NGO Twinning program in 2018 through their representatives Marija Kekenovska, Laslo Kish and Antal Molnar. After the program the two organizations stayed in contact as they saw the opportunity to work together from similar organization activities.

That is how Marija Kekenovska become a participant at the second International Nature Protection Volunteer Camp which was held from the 25th until the 31st of July in the Hungarian National Park –  Hortobagy. Based in front of the bird hospital with 25 participants coming from 6 countries, some of the activities on the camp contained volunteering hours at the bird hospital, creating and cleaning (by hand) the place of wooden path on the river bank, cleaning the river from boats, volunteering activities around the lakes, birdwatching tour on Hortobágy fishing lakes.

Moreover, Marija had the chance to visit Green Circle’s office in Hajdúböszörmény and get to know something more about Green Circle’s current and future projects. The two organizations plan to stay in touch and are looking forward for future collaboration.
