May 2022 – May 2024
EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal is a project dedicated to a sustainable Europe and presents the goals of the European Union in a film context.
EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal will provide a year-round program from May 2022- May 2024, with a focus on informing and educating about the green agenda mainly through films. The project activates young people for environmental challenges and promotes green activities and habits.
Together with the professors and students, we will contribute to a climate-neutral future and move development towards raising the community’s environmental awareness with a high-quality approach. We are doing this on a transnational level as well: with the support of the partners, EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal will take place in parallel in the Republic of N. Macedonia, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.
The program is based on a carefully selected film collection of a total of 25 European films, which will be shown in cinemas in 19 European cities, and as an opportunity to watch online. The program will also be accompanied by updated didactic materials and thematically related discussions, workshops and lectures with relevant guests.
This project is co-financed by the European Union.
