The overall goal of the Project is to strengthen the influence of youth activists and youth organizations in local environmental policies and processes. The project has the following specific aims:
(1) Strengthening the capacities of youth activists and youth organizations to implement effective advocacy activities at local level;
(2) Establishing partnerships between key stakeholders to ensure implementation of the standards set out in Chapter 27 of the European acquis in at least 12 municipalities;
(3) Increasing the number of initiatives for environmental protection by youth activists and youth organizations at a local level.
In order to achieve the envisaged goals, the project includes the implementation of several activities grouped in three components. The first component will include the development of a digital tool for conducting trainings and courses for youth activists on topics related to environmental protection, climate change and eco-activism.
